Pauline P. "Granny" Tobias, 93, of Leesport, died on Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at Berks and Heim Retirement Center.
She was born on Wednesday, January 21, 1920 to the late Elias Speicher and Minnie Speicher nee Patches in Lebanon. He also had adopted parents Augustus and Ella Troutman. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and traveling to the beach. She was active in the Rescue Fire Co. Ladies Auxilary and the "Busy Bees" at church.
Surviving are daughters Ella Mae T. spouse of the late Richard L. Weaver, Georgetown, DE, Joyce M. spouse of Harold Schnecks, Sinking Spring; grandchildren Rene Good, Joy Lutz, Harold E. Trautman, Lisa Balthaser, Ralph I. Trautman, Terrie Schnecks; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Ralph I. Tobias; grandchild Elaine Steinmetz; great grandchild Zachary Schoener.
Viewing will be on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Union Cemetery, Myerstown, following the service.
