Richard N. "Dick" Mease, 90, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Cedar Haven.
He was born on Sunday, April 30, 1922 to the late Clarence Mease and Sarah Mease nee Gensemer in Avon, PA. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Iona. He worked as an optician for 35 years and a veteran of the Army in World War II. He was married for 55 years and was a member of Rescue Fire Co. #1 Mt. Aetna, Marion Rod and Gun Club, Republican Club and Newmanstown Athletic Club. Richard enjoyed bowling, trapping, hunting, fishing and cooking.
Surviving are wife Kathryn M. Mease nee Smith; son Michael S. spouse of Michele Reiber; grandson Jared spouse of Trish; granddaughters Jenna, Michaela; great grandson Tucker; niece Donna and several other nieces and nephews; sister Geraldine. He was preceded in death by brother Donald; sister Arlene.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
