Celesta F. Hollinger, 97, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, March 05, 2013 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Saturday, September 18, 1915 to the late Harry Snavely and Ellen Snavely nee Fuhrman in Lebanon. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She worked as a waitress and retired from Sterling Drug. She was the oldest active member of VFW Post #23 Ladies Auxiliary and Fredericksburg Legion. She also enjoyed arranging bus trips and playing bingo.
Surviving are children Austin W. II spouse of the late Barbara Koppenhaver, TX, Andrea L. spouse of Ron Stephens, OR, Earl F. Jr., spouse of Sylvia Hollinger, Lebanon, William spouse of Rita Hollinger, Lebanon, Frank Hollinger, OR; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Bretz, Harriet Fox, Ethel Bachen. She was preceded in death by husband Nevin Koppenhaver; son Lawrence Kopenhaver; 3 brothers; 2 sisters.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
