Agnes S. Eckert, 93, of Countryside Christian Community, Annville, died on Saturday, November 06, 2010 at the home.
She was born on Tuesday, February 06, 1917 to the late Jacob Boyer and Sallie Boyer nee Fetter in Lebanon. She was a member of Quentin United Church of Christ. She worked as a garment worker. She enjoyed word puzzles, sewing, embroidery, cooking, baking and was a dog lover.
Surviving are daughters Audrey F. Kleinfelter, Jonestown, Grace M. spouse of Dennis Lutz, Lebanon; son George L. spouse of Susan Eckert, Lebanon; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son Mark Paul Eckert; brothers Ammon Boyer, William Boyer, Abraham Boyer, Paul Boyer, Edwin Boyer; sisters Louisa Corkle, Mary Walters, Lydia Rump.
Viewing will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Schaefferstown Cemetery, Schaefferstown, following the service.
