Alice A. Patches Gross, 89, of Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the home.
She was born February 25, 1920 to the late Edward and Mabel Wenrich Patches in Lebanon. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lebanon. She was active in the church. She was also an avid gardener, loved puzzles and was an excellent cook.
Surviving is sister Dorothy M. spouse of Ephraim Haak of Campbelltown; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband William E. Gross (11/21/2001); brothers Ralph E., John H., Miles E., Earl, Frank, Edward; sisters Hilda I. Donmoyer, Betty J. Miller, Arlene K. Lutz, Lillian Solesky, Mary Heisey.
Viewing is scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2009, from 1-2PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 12, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
