Allen Light

Allen G. Light, 68, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Wellspan York Hospital.
He was born on Thursday, August 3, 1950 to the late Albert G. Light and Dorothy V. Light nee Wagner in Lebanon. He was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 1968, University of Pennsylvania with B.A., Class of 1972 and Delaware School of Widener University with J.D., Class of 1984. Allen worked in the Philadelphia Adult Probation & Parole Office, then a partner with Drapewski & Light Law in Philadelphia. He was a former franchise owner of H&R Block located in Manheim, Elizabethtown, Mt. Joy and Lebanon. He was the church treasurer, treasurer of Light's Fort and member of Soul-r's. Allen loved music, reading and geneology.
Surviving are companion Laurie Munnion; children Carla spouse of Todd Eppel, Erica Williams and their children; siblings Anna J. Sullivan, Paul A. spouse of Debra Light, Joan C. spouse of Lee Hirons; nieces and nephews Michael C. Sullivan and companion Sherri Houck, Erica spouse of James Schott, Andrea spouse of Roger Schremph, Jacob spouse of Alicia Light, Austin L. Hirons, Katherine Hirons.
Viewing will be on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman Street, Lebanon. A prayer service will start at 7:00.
Funeral services will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the church with viewing starting at 10:00AM.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
