Almeda Merkey

Almeda L. Merkey, 93, of Myerstown, died on Wednesday, December 02, 2015 at Spang Crest Manor.
She was born on Saturday, August 12, 1922 to the late Calvin Yiengst and Sallie Yiengst nee Sholley in Lebanon. She was a member of Elco Bible Church and was an entrepreneur in reflexology. Almeda enjoyed reading.
Surviving are daughter Diane E. spouse of Adam Moyer; sons Dennis spouse of Lovella Merkey, Dale Merkey; grandchildren Denise Derr, Andrew spouse of Shannon Rentschler; great grandchild Nicholas Stalnecker; 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband Adam R. Merkey.
Viewing will be on Monday, December 07, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, December 07, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Zion "Goshert's" UCC Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
