Alverta L. Rudy, 88, of Lebanon, died on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Manor Care.
She was born on Friday, April 20, 1923 to the late Elmer N. Doster and Esther H. Doster nee Long in Lancaster. She was a retired garment worker for Susan Garment Co. in Bethel. She also enjoyed camping and bingo.
Surviving are sister Faye Long, Lancaster; brother-in-law Richard E. spouse of Catherine Rudy, Fredericksburg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Harold Rudy; brothers Richard Doster, Carl Doster, Elwood Doster, Gene Doster; sister Arlene Arnold.
Viewing will be on Friday, December 02, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 02, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
