Alvin Hinks, Jr.

Alvin J. "Butch" Hinks, Jr., 65, of Newmanstown, died on Wednesday, May 07, 2014 at Manor Care.
He was born on Wednesday, May 26, 1948 to Alvin J. Hinks, Sr. and Severia Hinks nee Sabatino in Shenandoah, PA.  He retired as a counselor at the VA.  Butch was a veteran of the Navy in Vietnam.  He was a member of Legion Post #880, VFW Post #6558, Disabled American Vets, Navy Club of USA and Antique Auto Club.
Surviving are several aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by son Christopher Hinks.
Viewing will be on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.
