Ammon L. Gibble, 76, of Lebanon, died on Monday, January 02, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Thursday, January 02, 1936 to the late Ammon Gibble and Mary Gibble nee Hartman in Lebanon. He attended Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church . He was a veteran of the National Guard. He was the owner of Gibble Plumbing for 23 years and retired from Vincent R. Boltz Plumbing and Heating. Ammon was chairman of the North Lebanon Township Zoning Hearing Board, Township Supervisor for 18 years and life member of Mt. Zion and Mt. Aetna Fire Companies and a member of the Mt. Olivet Lodge #704 F&AM and the Tall Cedars.
Surviving are wife Betty J. Gibble nee Claman, Lebanon; sons Craig spouse of Elaine Gibble, Lebanon, David spouse of Pamela Gibble, Lebanon; grandchildren Christopher spouse of Emily Gibble, Steven Gibble, Tanna Gibble; great grandchild Stella Gibble; brother Robert Gibble, Myerstown; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers George W Gibble, Charles R. Gibble; sister June Gingrich.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 09, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 09, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
