Arlene E. Ovecka, 90, of Lebanon, died on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Spang Crest Manor.
She was born on Monday, October 31, 1921 to Edgar Phillippy and Esther Phillippy nee Kleinfelter in Lebanon. She was a graduate of LHS in 1939. She was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church, where she served as lecturn and sang in the choir. She also was involved with the Lebanon Women''s Club and made crafts.
Surviving are son David spouse of Janice Ovecka, Brandon, VT; grandchildren Elaine, David; brother Arland Phillippy; number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Edward Ovecka; grandchild Angela; brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 Oak Street, Lebanon. No viewing.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
