Arthur Kershner

Arthur R. Kershner, 93, of Moravian Manor, Lititz, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the home.

He was born December 26, 1915 to the late Thomas M. and Lilly May Rose Kershner in Reading. He worked for Bethlehem Steel as a toolmaker for 42 years. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School in 1932. He was an active member of First Baptist Church and a true servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was the financial secretary, elder and Sunday school teacher for 55 years.

Surviving are son Thomas A. spouse of Sandy Kershner of Lititz; grandchildren Timothy A. spouse of Debbie Kershner, Mark M. spouse of Janelle Kershner, Tammy R. Kershner; great grandchildren Jared A. Kershner and Haley E. Kershner. He was preceded in death by wife Kathryn Elizabeth Hartman Kershner (3/04/1998).

Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2009, from 7-9PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. There will also be a viewing on Monday December 7, 2009 from 11-12 at First Baptist Church, 20 Linden Road, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 7, 2009, at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church at 20 Linden Road, Lebanon.

Burial will be at Trinity ECC Cemetery in Lititz.
