Avis Lee Malcom, Jr.

Avis Lee Malcom, Jr., 57, of Newmanstown passed away on Saturday evening May 6, 2023. He was born on Monday, May 10, 1965 to the late Avis Lee Malcom, Sr. and Rosann H. Frederick in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Avis was a hard worker who started one of the first Lawn Care services in the area named The Perfect Touch Lawn Care and Landscaping. He had been a mechanic for 16 years prior. Avis was a member of the American Pool League Association and Historic Shaefferstown, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and horseshoes, fantasy football, camping, doing sound mixing for his wife’s band Twinsister, listening to rock music, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Linda Holt; Children, Nicole Huyck and spouse Bryan, Avis L. Malcom III, Kyle Malcom and spouse Sierra, Verana Stark and spouse Dillon; step-daughter Charmaine Newman and spouse Eugene (Jay); 12 Grandchildren; Siblings Ravina Breden, Vincent Malcom, Jason Malcom and their spouses, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Kevin L. Malcom. A memorial of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
