Barbara A. Long

Barbara A Long, 92, of Lebanon passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1930 to the late Adam H Wolfe and Marguerite Wolfe nee Yocum in Lebanon. Barbara  worked for Sterling Drug until her retirement. She also received a BS in business management from Lebanon Valley College. Her favorite hobbies were baking and gardening. She was a Penn State Master Gardener as well as a volunteer for the Lebanon County SPCA and Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She is survived by her husband Richard R Long, daughter Susan Evans and her husband Steven Evans, grandchildren Jason Evans, Caroline Byars, Alexander Evans and Emily Evans, great grandchildren Frances Byars and Theo Evans, siblings Richard Wolfe and Isabelle Demmy, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at Christman's Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 2023 with Visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment to be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road Myerstown PA 17067.
