Betty Peiffer

Betty J. Peiffer, 84, of Lebanon, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28th at the Good Samaritan Hospital and was a resident of Elmcroft Senior Living.
Betty was born in Lebanon on June 18, 1929 and was the widow of Marlin E. Peiffer, Sr., and daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Weaver Snyder. Betty was preceded in death by sisters Minnie Longenecker, Catherine Bentz and brother Robert Snyder.
Betty was employed at the former Barry Maid Mills and retired from Pansy Hill Market. She enjoyed playning bingo and watching Nascar.
Betty leaves behind daughters Lois wife of Theodore Hummel of Lebanon, Marlene wife of Rick Wartluft of Annville; sons Marlin Peiffer, Jr. of Louisville, KY, Keith husband of Beth Peiffer, Lebanon. Betty is also survived by brother Richard Snyder of Cornwall; sister Margaret Bennetch of Myerstown; several nieces and nephews. The survivors also include her very special 9 grandchildren including Heather Vila, Melissa Young, Jamie Rogalski, Justin and Ryan Peiffer, Stacey Hanley, Austin, Christopher and Alexis Peiffer. Her 13 great grandchildren, Camryn, Morgan and Elizabeth Vila, Jackson and Emily Hanley, Reagan, Lily, Perrin and Carter Young, Jacob and Isabel Rogalski, Grayson Peiffer, Sarah Peiffer were the source of great joy and happiness in her life.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to her caregivers at Elmcroft Senior Living and to the doctors, nurses and aides at the Good Samaritan Hospital for their kindness, care and compassion bestowed upon Betty.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6-8PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 03, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with viewing starting at 10:00AM.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
