Carole J. Fox, 80, formerly of Myerstown, died on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Columbia Cottage, Palmyra.
She was born on Friday, July 10, 1931 to the late Mark W. Brunner and Mabel M. Brunner nee Smaltz in Schaefferstown. She was a member of St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church. She retired as a secretary and was a graduate of the Newmanstown School class of 1949, a member of the Senior Citizens of the Lebanon Valley, Marion Seniors, Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, the quilters group of her church, and a member of the church senior choir. Carole was also an avid reader and enjoyed physical activity and traveling.
Surviving are daughters Cynthia spouse of Jeffrey Hoerner, Jonestown, Jean L. spouse of Jeffrey Redinger, Lebanon; grandchildren Rachel spouse of Joshua Bashore, Zachary Hoerner, Kyle Redinger; great grandchildren Brody Bashore, Lexie Bashore; brothers John spouse of Vera Brunner, Akron, Neal spouse of Irene Brunner, Richland. She was preceded in death by husband Elmer E. Fox; great grandchild Julie Bashore.
Memorial services will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 6:30 PM at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schaefferstown.
