Carole L. Smith, 75, of Myerstown, died on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on Sunday, September 09, 1934 to the late William Kinsella and Muriel Kinsella nee VanWart in Yonkers, NY. When she moved to Myerstown in 2002, Carole became a member of St. Luke''s Episcopal Church.
Carole was the co-owner of Franklin Printing in New Paltz, NY for 32 years.
She served on the New Paltz, NY village board as a village trustee for 6 years and as a deputy mayor for 4
years. She was an active member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and served on the vestry for several
years. She was a member of the New Paltz Chamber of Commerce for 30 years and president for 1 year.
Surviving are loving husband of 54 years, Joseph Smith; daughters Karen spouse of John Skillman,
Kimberlie spouse of Glenn Hyde; son Joseph spouse of Lisa Smith; grandchildren Matthew and fiance Samantha, Kathleen, Craig, Holly, Eric, Jessica and Jason; sister-in-law Edith Templeton. She was preceded in death by brother Lawrence Kinsella.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke''s Episcopal Church, 22 S. 6th Street, Lebanon.
Burial will be at Friedens Memorial Park, Myerstown, following the service.
