Carrie I. Metz, 94, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
She was born on Wednesday, May 23, 1917 to the late Samuel R. Brown and Ida Brown nee Steiner in Lebanon. She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to the mountains at her son''s cabin to watch bear and deer. She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are son Harold Metz, Jr., with whom she resided; daughter Shirley spouse of Kenneth Weaver, Jonestown; son Robert Metz, Lebanon; grandchildren Debbie Knarr, Jonestown, Bonnie spouse of LeRoy Berger, Lebanon, Judy spouse of Frank Parker, Jonestown, Kelly Schooley, TN; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Harold Metz; 7 brothers and sisters.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 6-8PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 01, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with viewing beginning at 9:00AM.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
