Charles V. "Charlie" Davis, 92, of Lebanon, passed on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Cedar Haven.
He was born on Monday, December 22, 1919 to the late Charles D. Davis and Austa Neely-Davis in Rocky
Grove, PA. He was a 30 year veteran of Lebanon City Police Force where he acheived rank of captain and attended
the chapel at Cedar Haven. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World War II. He enjoyed attending sporting
events, playing basketball and hunting. He was a selfless public servant and was helpful and caring to friends and
family. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #704.
Surviving are son Charles V. spouse of Beverly A. Davis, Lebanon; daughter Robyn L. Davis, Palmyra;
grandchildren Chelsey spouse of Jacob Chapman, LA, Ciara Davis, Hummelstown, Devin Heslop, Palmyra; 2
nephews; 2 step grandchildren; sister in law Elsie R. Davis.
Visitation will be on Monday December 17, 2012 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00PM at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
