Clair J. Drye, 89, of Lebanon passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the Lebanon VA Hospital Hospice Center.
He was born in Lebanon on October 23, 1926 to the late Ida Fritz Drye and Lester Drye. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary L. (Mills) Drye.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served in WWII. Clair was a painter by trade but also retired from the Budd Trailer Company and the Cornwall-Lebanon School District as a custodian. He was also a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Clair loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, western movies and was a huge Phillies fan.
He is survived by sons Terrance Drye and wife Nancy of Lebanon, Michael Drye and wife Kathy, Carlisle and Thomas Drye and wife Linda, Camp Hill. He also has four grandsons, Mark, Matthew, Keith and Corey Drye, and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Lavenia Brightbill and Pauline Hoffer of Lebanon.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 03, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, September 03, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
