Clarence Bowman

Clarence R. "Noot" Bowman, 83, of 26 Jay Ann Drive, Lebanon, died on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at VA Medical
Center.

He was born on Friday, September 24, 1926 to Ira Bowman and Minnie Bowman in Lebanon. He was a veteran of
the Navy in World War II on the USS Anchor. He ran a ceramic business in Cleona and Lebanon and was a postal
carrier for 29 years. He was a member of the Rescue Fire Company. As a younger man, he played football and
baseball for the 5th Ward. He also enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and had a good sense of humor.

Surviving are wife Lorraine Bowman nee Stoessel, Lebanon; daughter Pamela J. spouse of John Banks, CT;
grandchildren Tamara L. Banks, Leveen, AZ, John C. Banks, IV, CT, Taryn L. Boehler, Lebanon; great grandchild
Audrey Elizabeth Boehler; sisters Ann Tice, VA, Romaine Books, Lebanon; niece Beverly Reitler, CO; nephew Vick
Bowman, CO. He was preceded in death by 7 siblings.

Viewing will be on Monday, June 07, 2010 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Monday, June 07, 2010 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA
17067.
