Clarence Houtz

Clarence Wayne Houtz, age 86, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Ethel Houtz; son and daughter-in-law, David and Annette Houtz of Lawrenceville; grandchildren Brittany (William) Bramlett of Athens, GA, Jillian (Ryan) Mollica of Lancaster, PA Eric (Heather) Souders of Westerville, OH; great-grandchildren, Ethan Mollica, Landon Mollica, Ali Mollica, Brynn Souders, Connell Souders, Nola Bramlett, and Shepard Bramlett;  sister, Arlene Vindich of Lebanon, PA; along with many loving nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra Souders; grandson, Zachary Houtz; 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Clarence was born and raised in Myerstown, PA. He moved to Lawrenceville in 2000. Clarence was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville and the Joy Sunday School Class. He enjoyed volunteering at the Lawrenceville Co-Op for about 10 years.

A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of Clarence will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville with Dr. Bill Burch and Rev. Sheri Smith officiating.  Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2PM at Grand View Cemetery 500 N. Weber St. Annville, PA 17003. The family will receive friends in the Family Center at 1st United Methodist Church from 2pm until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to Lawrenceville Co-op 176 Church St. Lawrenceville, GA 30046
