Clarence Ulrich

Rev. Clarence D. "Clair" Ulrich, 80, of Cornwall, died on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Cornwall Manor.
He was born on Wednesday, May 03, 1933 to the late Clarence E. Ulrich and Miriam R. Ulrich nee Daugherty in
Reading. He graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1955 and United Theological Seminary in 1959. Clair was
the pastor at Geyers Falmouth from 1959-1962, Avon United Methodist Church from 1962-1978, Brunnerville United
Methodist Church from 1978-1988 and St. Matthews in Reading from 1988-1995 from where he retired. He moved to
Mt. Gretna for 10 years where he was the Supply Pastor at Shirks Church. Clair was the president of Lebanon
County Council of Church and president of Warwick Ministerium. He enjoyed flying small aircraft, loved his dogs,
exercising and substitute teaching.
Surviving are wife Pauline S. Ulrich nee Heisey; son Christopher T. spouse of Brenda Ulrich; daughter Cynthia L.
spouse of Bryan Martin; son Joseph E. Ulrich; grandchildren Brianna Krowley, Samantha Martin, Jenae Lockhart,
Jessica Sweeney, Todd Ulrich; great grandchild Natalie Sweeney.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, November 02, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Levi Zerr Chapel of Cornwall Manor,
Cornwall.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
