Claude I. Kissinger, Jr., 87, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at VA Medical Center.
He was born on Monday, December 31, 1928 to the late Claude I. Kissinger, Sr. and Sarah Kissinger nee Sohn in Lebanon. He attended First Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Marine Corps in World War II. He worked as a machinist at Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years. Claude was a Marine and later with the 82nd Airborne Division where he was under the 376 Field Artillery Battalion and 319th Glider Field Artillery Batallion. The family wishes to thank the Lebanon VA Hospice staff for their excellent service.
Surviving are wife of 67 years, Ethel R. Kissinger nee McLaughlin, Lebanon; daughters Julie A. Kissinger, Lebanon, Diane spouse of Larry Martin, Myerstown, Jennifer Maulfair, Myerstown; grandchildren Todd Martin, Houston, TX, Adam Martin, Elizabethtown, Jill Kreider, Myerstown, Jason Maulfair, Myerstown, Jordan Maulfair, Palmyra; 6 great grandchildren; brother John Kissinger, Lebanon; sister Amy Cowden, FL.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors.
