He was born on Saturday, October 21, 1950 to Claude R. Zechman and Elizabeth F. Zechman nee Sealer in Lebanon. He was a veteran of the Air Force and Army in Vietnam. Ed was a firefighter, involved with crime watch and a basketball coach.
Surviving are wife Sherri L. Zechman nee Wagaman; children Lori Zechman, David Zechman, Dustin Zechman, Taileen Zechman, Dorothie Zechman, Carrie Zechman; grandchildren Mykia Zechman, Tilier Gass, Anthony Scott, Michael Scott, Freddy Cabasquin III. He was preceded in death by son Michael Zechman.
Viewing will be on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
