Colleen M. (Glick) Kotay, 95, passed away at The Lebanon Valley Home in Annville, PA on October 17, 2023. She was the last born child of William G. Glick and Elsie (Wolf) Glick from Mt. Zion, Lebanon County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Rodney R. Kotay. She is survived by two sons, Michael R. and Thomas A. Kotay; two daughters-in-law (RoseMarie (Risser) Kotay and Denise A. (Keath) Kotay) respectively; two grandchildren (Jennifer Kotay and Jessica Bahler); and two great grandchildren (Cecelia and Zachary) from Jessica and Andrew Bahler. Colleen was also preceded in death by all of her siblings Hazel, Martha and Henry. She worked as a home maker until her boys were in junior high school, when she went to work at Royer’s Cake Box. She worked there for many years and very much enjoyed working for the Royers and assisting customers. Her goal was to use these funds to get her boys through college. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon since the mid-1960s. She very much enjoyed being a wife and mother, vacationing at the shore with the family, traveling across America with friends. However, a quiet evening at home with her family was her perfect day. She also truly loved living on her parent’s William Penn land grant farm in Mt. Zion along Freeport Road. She loved listening to and watching Phillies baseball, and in her later years, she couldn’t wait to see The Voice on TV. Christman’s Funeral Home is taking take of the cremation of the body. A grave site ceremony will be held at the convenience of the immediate family. The interment will take place at the Glick family burial site at Zoars Lutheran Church in Mt. Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The UCC Homes Benevolent Fund at UCC Homes, 30 N. 31 st Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
