David Wimmer

David J. Wimmer, 83, of Cornwall, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Cornwall Manor.
He was born on Thursday, January 6, 1938 to the late George P. Wimmer and Lillie Wimmer nee Kasper in Hammond, IN. He worked as a Line Supervisor at Budd and was a veteran of the Marine Corps. David was an avid
golfer, enjoyed Notre Dame Football and playing poker with his buddies at Cornwall Manor.
Surviving are daughter Cynthia A. Kane and spouse Steve; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Maureen M. Wimmer nee O'Boyle; siblings Edna Miles, Georgia Ilif, Doloris Kraf, Marian Macsimic, George Wimmer, Charles Wimmer, Lawrence Wimmer.
Memorial services will be at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12:00. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:00PM.
