Dennis Heagy, Sr.

Dennis Paul "Oppy" Heagy, Sr., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
Dennis was born in Lebanon to Harvey and Edith Heagy. Dennis, a 1967 graduate of Cedar Crest High School served in the United States Army as a Seargant in Vietnam. He loved his Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies and all things baseball and fishing. Dennis was a hard working man who retired from Alcoa after 29 years and continued his career at Beck Aluminum for an additional 10 years. Dennis married his childhood sweetheart, the love of his life Susan Jean Carpenter. They would have celebrated their 48th anniversary in November.
Dennis is survived by, daughters Krista Fisher (spouse Joseph), Jennifer Bennett (spouse Jason); son Dennis Jr. (spouse Nicole); grandchildren he adored Stephen Fisher (spouse Riannon), Alexa Fields (spouse Matt), Lauren Bennett (fiance Tyler), Paul Heagy, Breanna Bennett, Sam Heagy; great grandchildren Brinlee "Rosie" Bennett and expected baby Fields in November. He is also survived by sisters Monica Stahley, Lori Goodner and brother Bruce Heagy.
Ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Cornwall Cemetery.
