Donald L. Smith, 86, of Lebanon, died on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Cedar Haven.
He was born on Friday, July 18, 1924 to the late Charles M. Smith and Mary Smith nee Spayd in Lebanon. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. He owned Snavely Food Town in Jonestown. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He was a member of Friendship Fire Co. and VFW, and enjoyed crafts and karaoke at Cedar Haven.
Surviving are wife Louise M. Smith, Lebanon; son Donald H. Smith spouse of Catherine Mahady-Smith, Harrisburg; daughter Kathy spouse of Kenneth Allwein, Lebanon; grandchildren Kandice Messinger, Vladimir Smith, Nicholas Smith, Kasper Smith, Sandis Smith. He was preceded in death by brothers Bernard Smith, Charles Smith; sisters Dorothy Pence, Beatrice E. Keath, Phyllis M. Wise.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 03, 2011 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 03, 2011 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
