Doris Schaeffer

Doris D. Schaeffer, 84, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Sunday, September 16, 1934 to the late Wilfred C. Dunstan and Hilda A. Dunstan nee Sheetz in Northampton. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. Doris graduated from Lebanon High School in 1952 and was married to her husband for 43 years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star for 50 years and enjoyed crocheting. She volunteered at Cedar Haven and was active in the Mom & Tots program. Doris' goal was that all of her children and grandchildren would graduate from college.
Surviving are children Eric Dunstan Schaeffer spouse of Carol, Deborah A. Light spouse of Bruce, Kurt W. Schaeffer spouse of Leigh; grandchildren Bruce E. Light, Jr., Susan E. Barnhart, Erin E. Schaeffer, Bryan A. Schaeffer, Shaun B. Schaeffer, Reagan M. Schaeffer, Peyton C. Schaeffer; great grandchildren Madalynn Barnhart, Isabella Barnhart; sister Ruth E. Yiengst; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Charles W. Schaeffer; sister Jeanne Tobias.
Viewing will be on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
