Dorothy Light

Dorothy J. Light, 93, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on Friday, August 20, 1920 to the late Chester Maulfair and Edna Maulfair nee Geib in Palmyra.  She enjoyed sewing, playing scrabble, puzzles and baked delicious Christmas cookies.
Surviving are daughters Barbara Hafey, Cleona, Janice spouse of Bruce Schafebook, Bethlehem, Joanne Bernard, Morgantown, Lorraine L. Harlan, Mount Gretna; grandchildren Robert Hafey, Jr. and fiance Susan Hicks, Jonathan spouse of Dara Hafey, David Schafebook, Jill Schafebook, Beth spouse of James McGlynn, Michael spouse of
Wendy Bernard, Marsha spouse of Steven Harris, Andrea spouse of Orlando O'Neill, Scott spouse of Jenn Harlan, Adam spouse of Anchisa Harlan; 16 great grandchildren; sister Josephine Ratliff, Middletown. She was preceded in death by husband Oscar H. Light.
Viewing will be on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Midway Brethren Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
