Dorothy M. "Dottie" Pyles, 89, of Lebanon, died on Sunday, December 04, 2011 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Friday, February 03, 1922 to the late Raymond Haag and Sadie Haag nee Wengert in Myerstown.
She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Dottie married Aug. 10, 1942 in Annville by pastor by K.
Otis Spessard. She was employed at Lebanon VA Hospital from 1948-1963 and retired from Cornwall Lebanon
School District in 1984. She enjoyed roller skating in her early years and vacationing in Rehobeth Beach with family
and friends.
Surviving is friend Greg Hower, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by husband Preston F. Pyles; daughter
Shirley Ann Pyles.
Viewing will be on Thursday, December 08, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 08, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Union Cemetery, Myerstown, following the service.
