Dorothy J. "Dottie" Strauss, 78, of Camp Hill, died on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born on Monday, August 05, 1935 to the late Oscar W. Strauss and Ada R. Strauss nee Heisey in Lebanon.
She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She worked as Registered Nurse and was a veteran of the
Air Force and PA Air National Guard in the Vietnam Conflict. She graduated from Lancaster General Hospital
School of Nursing in 1956. Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano, loved to travel and her family. .
Surviving are brother Bruce A. spouse of Jean W. Strauss, Jacksonville, FL; sister Ann S. spouse of John R. Gibbel,
Lititz; brother Larry L. Strauss, Myerstown. She was preceded in death by sister Elaine L. Knorr.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Burial will be at Kochenderfer''s "Zion" Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
