Dwight C. Fake, 91, of Cornwall, died on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born on Sunday, August 26, 1923 to the late Rev. Norman Fake and Gertrude Fake nee Rupp in Hopeland, PA. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Iona and retired as a teacher from Elco. He was a veteran of the Navy in World War II and was an avid baseball fan who played for the Richland Chicks as a young man. Dwight coached High School baseball in Myerstown and played baseball at LVC. He was on the church bowling team for many years and was a member of a male christian quartet. Dwight enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are sons Dennis C. spouse of Karen Fake, Douglas spouse of Christine Fake, David spouse of Kathleen Fake, Dale Fake; grandchildren Anthony, Ryan, John, Jennifer; great grandchildren Breana, Noah, Karter, Kaden, Kennedy, Tori, Tyler. He was preceded in death by wife Doris C. Fake nee Wolfe.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Zion United Methodist Church of Iona, 1920 S. 5th Ave., Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Iona United Methodist Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
