Edward Deitz

Mr. Edward A. Deitz, Sr., 75, of Annville, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at home with his loving family. He was born on May 18, 1946 to the late John Deitz and Sally Deitz nee Reppert in Lebanon, PA. He retired from his working career within the postal service doing building maintenance.  Edward was a Marine Corp veteran who served in the Vietnam War. In his free time you could find him hunting, wood building and spending time with his family. He was the most reliable, generous and caring man you'd ever meet. Anytime someone needed something he was there for them. Edward's love for his family ran deep; his grandchildren were the lights of his life. When his children were young he stood by their side to coach them in his favorite sport, baseball. His love for the sport was so great and he played softball into his 50's. He is survived by his life partner: Linda Kruger; Children Laura Moyer and spouse Curtis and Edward A. Deitz, Jr. and life partner Linda; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings: Jenn Hines, George, Franklin, and Dale Deitz. He was preceded in death by 9 siblings. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
