Edward F. Troain, Sr., 79, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, April 09, 2016 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Wednesday, March 31, 1937 to the late Ostin Troain and Ruth Troain nee Dupple in Lebanon. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Edward passed on the 32nd anniversary of his granddaughter's death. He was married Sept. 14, 1957 would have been married for 59 years. He retired from Boose Aluminum and was a member of dart leagues at local clubs, enjoyed Nascar, camping, bus trips and most of all enjoyed watching his eight grandsons play softball. Edward also played Santa Clause, was a member of Keystone, Liberty, Hook-N-Ladder, 5th Ward, Neversink, Independent, Annville American Legion and Friendship.

Troain nee James; children Debra (Troain) wife of Chester Lutz, Jonestown, Brenda (Troain) wife of Jeffrey Swartswelder, DE, Edward Troain, Jr. (Jett) wife Sherry Troain, Lebanon, Lori (Troain) wife of Kevin Sechrist, Newmanstown, Wendy Jo (Troain)wife of Steve Sellers, Lebanon; grandchildren Jennifer Swartswelder, Jamie Whitman, Amanda Welsh, Ryan Sellers, Joshua Troain, Michael Troain, Matthew Sellers, Miranda Lutz, Lake Sechrist, Dylan Sechrist, Nolan Sellers, Derek Sechrist; great grandchildren Madysen Troain, Jaden Hower, Carter Troain, Jorden Troain, Maison Troain, Skyelin Sechrist, Rylee Sellers, Avery Troain, Dominick Judkins, Sophya Dostick, Braylon Sellers, Caden Sechrist, Keriann Lelsey, Cadence Sellers, Jaxsyn Sechrist, Ezra Sechrist; brothers Ralph (Max) Troain, Nicholas Troain, Joseph Troain; sister Ruth (Troain) Mish. He was preceded in death by brother John Troain; sisters Mary Snmyder, Philomena (Sis) Leed; granddaughter Trinda Faye Sechrist (4/9/1984).
Visitation will be on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
