Edwin Harris

Edwin C. "Ed" Harris, 83, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, January 02, 2016 at Spang Crest Manor.
He was born on Monday, August 22, 1932 to the late John C. Harris and Lizzie Harris nee Wolf in Pine Grove. He was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren.  Ed worked as a dock worker for Jones Motors, Ft. Indiantown Gap as a warehouse manager and Lehman's Furniture. He was a veteran of the Army in the Korean Conflict. Ed was involved with the Perseverance social club in Jonestown and VFW Myerstown Post 6076. Edwin enjoyed being with people and the breakfasts he attended and Fresh Donuts. He was always a great provider and always willing to help.The family would like to thank Spang Crest for their extremely great care and treated him like family.
Surviving are daughter Pamela spouse of Ray Reinbold; sons Edwin S. Harris, Gregory spouse of Barb Harris; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild;  brother George L. Harris; sister Joyce Miller. He was preceded in death by wife Shirlee H. Harris; daughters Jan Harris, Susan Harris; brother Leon Harris.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 06, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 06, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.
