Elsie Moyer

Elsie Mae Moyer 11/02/1932 - 06/11/2018, daughter of the late Irwin and Alice Stoner.  Married to George Young and Curtis Moyer, both deceased.  Survived by a son Richard L. Moyer and grandson Kurt M. Moyer both of Austin, TX;  two sisters Betty A. Bear, Lebanon and Gertrude V. wife of John Good, Lancaster.  She was preceded in death by a son Ronald L. Moyer, by five brothers Paul, Wilbur, Irwin, Robert and Charles; and a sister Mary Jane.  She was secretary to three presidents at Lebanon Valley College and retired from the Hershey Medical Center where she worked as a medical secretary and a senior medical transcriptionist. She visited many nursing homes in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties with her trained therapy dog, Judy.  She was a member of the Dutchland Polkateers, Polka Pals, and Warner-Lambert Retirees.  She had been a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Lebanon and The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Lancaster.  In recent years she moved to Austin, TX to be near her son.  At the deceased's request, there will be a private family graveside service.
