He was born on Thursday, June 07, 1934 to the late Samuel Moyer and Jennie Moyer nee Kline in Hamburg. He was a veteran of the Army in the Korean Conflict as an Intermediate Radio Operator and was married for 54 years to Hattie M. Moyer nee Lymaster. Elwood enjoyed antiques, such as, clocks, phonographs and music boxes. He also like Nascar.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter Kim Gardner; grandchild Stacy Shirk; great grandchild Derrick McConnell; brother Earl Moyer. He was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Charles and Ralph Moyer.
