Emma M. Shelly, 91, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Monday, December 04, 1922 to the late Ammon Reppert and Isabel Reppert nee Kiscadden in Cornwall.  She worked as a seamstress for Binner Association in Schaefferstown.  Emma, eldest of 10 children, married Henry at the age of 18 in1942 when he left for Army training in Oklahoma. She was very proud and attended her grandchildren's graduation from college who became teachers, engineers, professionals and lawyers but we will always remember her as the smartest person in our family. Emma, mom, grandma, mama was an inspiration to her entire family and will be missed beyond words. She was a member of OES and enjoyed crosswword puzzles and loved watching birds.
Surviving are son Dale spouse of Elizabeth Shelly, Palmyra; daughters Joyce spouse of Scott Plasterer, Lebanon, Faye spouse of James Aurand, Middleburg; grandchildren Melissa spouse of Craig Groff, Kevin spouse of Helen Kreiser, Kelly spouse of Michael Plasterer, Jeffrey Aurand, Bradley spouse of Bethann Aurand, Andrew spouse of Alyssa Aurand; great grandchildren Ben Groff, Ethan Groff, Dylan Groff, Zack Kreiser, Jake Kreiser, Emma Plasterer, Addison Aurand; brothers David Reppert, Ern Reppert, Glen Reppert; sister Christine Yiengst; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by husband Henry W. Shelly; grandchild Michael Shelly; sister Jane Shank; brothers Richard Reppert, Ammon Reppert, Jr., Wayne Reppert, Harold Reppert.
Viewing will be on Monday, July 14, 2014  from 11:00-12:00 at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Services will be on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 12:00PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
