Eugene W. Bullett, 68, passed away on November 5, 2024, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lebanon, PA. Eugene Bullett was born on March 15, 1956 in Harrisburg, PA, to Edith Ann Carter née Bullett. After high school graduation, Eugene started his career spanning decades of serving our country with the United States Army as a Quartermaster. He fathered two children, the lights of his life, son Maurice Bullett and daughter Jennifer Bullett. An artistic soul, Eugene had a strong sense of connection with music, particularly rhythm and blues and Motown. He also loved to create, and he nurtured a natural knack for drawing which seemed to run through his bloodlines. But this profound poet had a warrior side as well, unleashed whenever he was supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Penn State Nittany Lions! Eugene is survived by son Maurice Bullett (engaged to Angela); daughter Jennifer Bullett; siblings David Searcy, Jr., Rochelle (Doug) Butler, Vercenia (Tony) Scarborough, Tracy (Mark) Thompson, and Shawnie (Constance) Johnson; grandson Jakobi Bullett; and a host of many loving nieces and nephews. Eugene is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Searcy. There will be a public viewing for Mr. Eugene Bullett to be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. We welcome you to wear Eugene's favorite color-orange-to the funeral home that day, to represent those same beams of sunshine we once witnessed in his bearded smile. Burial will be on a later date at the convenience of the family.
