Eugene Longenecker

Eugene D. "Gene" Longenecker, 80, of Lebanon, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born on Monday, May 31, 1937 to the late William Longenecker and Dorothy Longenecker in Lebanon. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and retired as a truck driver. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards and Yahtzee. Gene also liked the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Surviving are children Donna J. spouse of Gregory Kreiser, Jeffrey G. spouse of Deborah Longenecker, Gregory D. spouse of Regina Longenecker, Pamela M. spouse of John Meyer, Gail L. Henry and companion Thomas Read, Amy L. Smith and companion Darren Curry; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers William Longenecker, Gary Longenecker, Richard Longenecker; sisters Patricia Behm, Cindy Heisy. He was preceded in death by wife Eleanor L. Longenecker nee Shott.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
