Evelyn M. "Evie" Nye, 72, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, January 08, 2014 at Spang Crest Manor.
She was born on Friday, July 25, 1941 to the late Thomas Field and Lydia Field nee Knerr in Schuylkill Haven, PA.
She worked as a seamstress and was a member of the Retread Motorcycle Group. Evelyn enjoyed cooking and baking.
Surviving are sons Noah spouse of Visal Redcay, Lebanon, Anthony Redcay, FL; daughter Cheryl Alcantar, Hamburg; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers David Field, Myerstown, Marlin Field, Myerstown, Ammon Field, GA; sisters Linda Sylvester, Annville, Mildred Strunk, Myerstown. She was preceded in death by husband Leonard Nye; son Leroy A. Redcay; sister Betty Jean Nye; brother Robert Field.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
