Florence M. Stewart, 89, of Macungie, died on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Lehigh Center.
She was born on Tuesday, November 28, 1922 to the late William Berkheiser and Florence May Berkheiser nee Mugford in Harrisburg. She worked as a secretary for Harrisburg Schools and at the US Navy Supply Depot. She enjoyed bowling, watching tennis and word puzzles. She also received a plaque from the US Government recognizing her service with the US Navy Supply Depot for 35 years.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Arthur S. Stewart; brother William Berkheiser.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
