Forrest Ludwig, Jr.

Forrest W. "Bonz" Ludwig, Jr., 67, of Newmanstown, died on Friday, August 12, 2016 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Friday, November 26, 1948 to the late Forrest W. Ludwig, Sr. and Edna P. Ludwig nee Hess in Reading. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and retired from Food Liner as a truck driver. He later drove school bus for Cornwall Lebanon School District. Forrest was a veteran of the Army and enjoyed Tasty Kakes and cheez its. He was a Green Bay Packers fan and Reading/Philadelphia Phillies fan. Forrest was also a member of the Orioles Club.
Surviving are wife Carol A. Ludwig nee Strause; daughters Stephanie spouse of the late Ralph Wintersteen, Cynthia McMillen; sons Matthew Ludwig spouse of Jeremy Schlieve, Tyler Ludwig and fiance Nicolette Kohler, Jeremy Ludwig and fiance Nicole Brubaker; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers Raymond Wunderly, David Ludwig.
Viewing will be on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
