Frank S. Shyda, Jr., 84, of 1853 Martin Drive, Lebanon, died on Saturday, January 09, 2010 at his home. He was born on Tuesday, March 03, 1925 to the late Frank S. Sr., and Mary Shyda in Lebanon. He worked in oil delivery and furnace repair. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He enjoyed Nascar and fishing. Surviving are son Robert R. Sr., spouse of Brenda of Palmyra; grandchildren Michelle Kleinfelter, Peggy Smith, Robert R. Ruhl, Jr.; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Victoria Brunn of Lebanon, Christine Raiger of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by wife Irene A. Shyda (9/29/99); sister Pauline Gerhart; brothers Chester, Edward "Jack", Thaddeus, Sigmund Sr. and John Shyda. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. No viewing. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
