Gary Reist

Gary Fedder Reist, 51, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Monday, January 13, 1964 to Eunice Reist nee Fedder and the late Frank Reist in Lebanon. He worked as an Onsite Manager at Swift Transportation. He was a Cedar Crest graduate in 1981 and enlisted in the Army in 1982.  He enjoyed his Harley Motorcycle, Harley Davidson poker chip collection, model cars, hats, Zippo lighter collection and Pittsburgh Steelers. Gary was an organ and cornea donor to help someone in need.
Surviving are wife Valerie J. Reist nee Petry; children Shane spouse of Noel Petry, Ryan Reist and fiance Naomi Burkholder, Chelsea Reist, Cody Hitz, Danielle Reist and fiance Thomas Thomson, Nicole Prout, Shannon Strickler; grandchild Caleb Tauscher; brothers Carl Reist, Frank Jr., spouse of Lucinda Reist, Donald spouse of Cathy Reist; aunt Joan spouse of Elmer Books; brother-in-laws Joseph Petry, Keith Petry; sister-in-laws Josie spouse of Tim Wolfe, Cindy Prout, Kimmie spouse of Mike Dohner, Mariann spouse of Lee Bomberger; dog Pookie Bear. Pallbearers will be Jasper Vignone, Steve Magee, Mike Zserai, Ismael Vazquez, Shane Petry, Cody Hitz, Ryan Reist. Thomas Thomson, Mike Dohner, Wayne Sease.
Viewing will be on Friday, September 04, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 5:00-8:00PM at Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds, 80 Rocherty Road, Lebanon.
Graveside services will be at Kimmerling's Cemetery, Lebanon, at 11:00AM. Thomas Thomson will be playing the bagpipes. Please meet at 10:00 at the Lebanon Expo Parking lot for the procession.
