George Friedrich “Fritz” Schrom, 60, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020. He was engaged to Gale Johnson, also of Lebanon. Born and raised in Lancaster, Fritz was the son of the late Robert George Schrom and Ruth Jean Walker Greenfield. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years as a firefighter and was stationed in Texas and Germany. He worked as an insurance salesman for many years and was involved in local politics as an active member of the Constitution Party. He is survived by 10 children, Joseph (Jessica) Gura, Matthew (Wendy) Gura, Alexander, Jordan, Aaron “Max”, Chandler, Courtney, Hannah, Bethany, and Tobiah
Schrom, and 4 grandchildren. Fritz is also survived by a brother, Karl Schrom, and two sisters, Stephanie (Keith) Kaufman and Sally Schrom. He was loved and will be missed, especially by his cats and dog, Shirley.
A viewing will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home in Lebanon on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 6-7 P.M.
There will be an interment ceremony at Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery, Annville, on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 11:30 A.M.
