George A. Scranton, 77, of Lancaster, died on Saturday, January 02, 2016 at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon.
He was born on Thursday, June 23, 1938 to the late Arthur L. Scranton and Alice E. Scranton nee Sanborne in Newburyport, MA. He graduated from Newburyport High School in 1956 and then Served in the US Army.
Surviving are wife Patricia; his sister Elizabeth, Betty, Stanwood of Amesbury, MA; his sons Robert, Richard, and David all living in Mount Airy, MD along with their wives and his six grandchildren, Alec, Kyle, Braden, Garrett, Aidan and Emma. He loved the Patriots and the Red Sox.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
