Georgia M. Stamm, 101, of Cornwall, died on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Cornwall Manor.
She was born on Wednesday, July 26, 1911 to the late Milford N. Ayers and Alice R. Ayers nee Adams in Conneaut, OH. She was a member of Avon United Methodist Church since 1947. She was a past member of the Cleona Woman''s Club and a volunteer at the soup kitchen at the church. She decorated canes since 1991 and was known as the "cane lady" and "pie lady" at Cornwall Manor. She also made many dolls.
Surviving are daughter Patricia J. spouse of James H. McConnell; son Thomas spouse of Christenna Stamm; grandchildren Laurie Shay, James R. McConnell, Michael McConnell, Kwatee K. Stamm, Wakan G. Stamm, Dana M. Stamm; great grandchildren Allison K. Shay, Jason Shay, James H. McConnell, Kari McConnell, Kyle McConnell, Jenny McConnell, Stephanie Isacco, Laura Isacco, Stephen Isacco; great great grandchildren Elliott Isacco, Kalyn V. Stamm, Elysa M. Stamm, Xylan Stamm, Miko Stamm, Alexa B. Welter. She was preceded in death by husband John R. Stamm.
Viewing will be on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Levi Zerr Chapel of Cornwall Manor, 1 Boyd Street, Cornwall.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the chapel.
Burial will be at Midway Brethren Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
